Staff Nurse -  Elm Ward

An opportunity has arisen for a full time Staff Nurse to join the dedicated team on Elm Ward.

We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated individual to join our existing friendly and enthusiastic team, assisting in the delivery of a patient-centred, clinically effective and dynamic service from the patient's admission, assessment to discharge.

Elm ward is a mixed 21 bedded ward, and we specialise in a range of surgical conditions. Which include Urology; E.N.T; Colorectal; and Gynaecology.

We also provide highly specialised care for ladies in the early stages of their pregnancy and any complications which may occur.

Our patients can be directly admitted from Accident and Emergency department; the surgical assessment unit; or the early pregnancy Unit.

Interviews are tentatively planned for week commencing 26th March 2018 for applicants who are successful at shortlisting stage.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.

The postholder will have regular contact with vulnerable people and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
